Cheesy holiday jumpers are one of the best things about the season, and the Pokemon Center has a whole range of them in sizes up to 4XL. Snom, Stantler, Snorlax, and Eevee each get a jumper, while Pikachu gets two. It’s nice to see these jumpers be available in so many sizes – usually merchandise like this stops at XL or 2XL!

Pokemon TCG Celebrations Elite Trainer Box

10 Perfect Holiday Gift Ideas For Pokemon Fans

Celebrations was the trading card game’s big 25th Anniversary collector’s expansion, and it was one of the most exciting things the game has released in quite a while. Combining new cards inspired by older favourites with beloved reprints from right the way across the series’ history made Celebrations a slam dunk of an expansion. Opening it is fun, the cards are bound to be highly collectable, and the Elite Trainer Box even comes with booster packs from a few other recent expansions as well.

Unfortunately, because the Pokemon TCG is so popular at the moment, you may have trouble finding Celebrations for its recommended price of $49.99. It’s recommended you look in your local game stores over buying through somewhere like Amazon, as the price from there has skyrocketed due to demand.

Pokemon Manga (Sword & Shield Vol. 1 and 2, Pokemon Journeys, and Pokemon Adventures Collector’s Editions)

10 Perfect Holiday Gift Ideas For Pokemon Fans

It’s a scandal that the Pokemon manga doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. It’s been going for just as long as the anime, and can often get incredibly in-depth storylines that serve as expanded adaptations of the games themselves.

If you or a friend fancy hopping into it, now is a great time as the Sword & Shield manga has only just begun its English print run, and follows Casey and Henry as they make their way through the Galar region.

While Sword & Shield adapt the games, Pokemon Journeys instead follows the latest series of the anime. Featuring Ash Ketchum and his new friend Goh, Journeys is a globe-trotting adventure that takes them to all the different regions of the Pokemon world, meet new and old faces, and head to the Galar region for the very first time.

Alternatively, you could start from the very beginning with the Pokemon Adventures Collector’s Editions. Across ten volumes, these much larger volumes adapt the original Adventures series, which ran all the way up to the end of the third generation and spans the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn regions. If you’re wanting to really get stuck in, these are a great way to go about it.

Baccarat x Pokemon Collection

Maybe the budget isn’t an issue for you, and you want to give something incredibly valuable to celebrate someone’s love of Pokemon. For that, why not a solid crystal Pikachu or Pokeball by French fine crystal manufacturer Baccarat?

There are three Baccarat x Pokemon items available. The first is an incredibly limited edition ‘Pikachu Fragment’, featuring a simplified and polygonal Pikachu designed by producer and designer Hiroshi Fujiwara. There are only 25 of these available worldwide and costs an eye-watering $25,000.

Alternatively, there are the more standard Pikachu and Pokeball pieces, these are intended as figurines and paperweights. While still expensive (it is Baccarat, after all), they’re much more affordable: Pikachu costs $440, while the Pokeball (complete with gold mesh in the grooves for added detail) is $410.

Fragment Pikachu is $25,000, while the regular Pikachu is $440 and the Pokeball is $410. All are available via the Baccarat site, however, the Fragment Pikachu will require contacting Baccarat to arrange purchase.
