Armando Rubio and Kenneth Niedermeier from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way are an adored franchise pair, and it’s time to remind fans of their biggest moments. It is possible their wedding will be featured in season 3. Although Armando and Kenneth from 90DF are super happy right now, the beginning of their relationship was not quite smooth. The two met through a support group for single fathers and immediately connected.
The American citizen Kenneth agreed to move to Mexico to be with Armando and his daughter, who he had from a previous relationship. In the last season, viewers saw 90 Day Fiancé’s Kenneth bidding an emotional farewell to his family and moving on. The episode was very emotional for the family as well as for the fans. Not only did fans see a father leave his four supportive kids behind. But also his little grandson, Cooper, who was a big reason for his smile. It was an episode that broke down the 57-years-old grandfather and the fans, but it was something that Kenneth had to do to be with Armando.
Armando Had Issues With His Family
The emotional rollercoaster was still not over, as Armando was dealing with his side of problems. The 31-year-old Mexican native had to come out to his family and tell them he wanted to be with Kenneth. He revealed to his family that he would be leaving to live with 90DF’s Kenneth in La Misión. Armando’s move wasn’t as big as Kenneth’s, but it did come like a shock to his family, leaving them in tears. Armando said in a confessional, “I’m taking Hannah away from the only family she’s ever known, so I know that they’re hurting.” He also explained how it hurts him too, but this was something he had to do for his love. The time for painful goodbyes was almost over, and Armando and Kenneth were finally together.
Kenneth Is Having Trouble Adjusting To Life In Mexico
However, there were still some things left, the first of which was family introductions. In one of the later episodes, Armando introduced Kenneth to his family for the first time. At first, everything felt normal as everyone welcomed them, and Armando’s mom Virginia, shook Kenneth’s hand with a smile. But Armando’s father did not show up at all. Virginia explained to the 90 Day Fiancé cameras, “When I saw my son, Armando, I was very happy.” She continued. “But seeing Armando with a man … it’s something strange but … I don’t know.” The announcement of their engagement was also a bit of a shocker to the family, and Kenneth felt that everybody would blame him. While talking to the cameras, he said, “I wish it could have been like a joyful moment for everybody. I just don’t want to be viewed as the bad guy. They have to blame somebody, and I’m sure it will be easy to blame me.” Meanwhile, he had difficulty adapting to Mexican culture. Kenneth had a stressful time adjusting to Mexican currency and understanding the local language, Spanish.
As things cooled down, the 90 Day Fiancé stars tried for a marriage license. However, their license request got rejected at first. Eventually, the two made it happen. In between the last season and the new season, the couple got married in the presence of their family. The ceremony was beautiful, and so was their kiss.
