Another addition to Call of Duty: Mobile is bringing a fan-favorite map to its ever-growing map rotation. Players can expect to get their hands on two of the most chaotic maps in the history of Call of Duty, Shipment and Shoot House, as part of the game’s season two update.
Call of Duty: Mobile has been an incredible success for Activision, allowing the company to continue to monetize the multi-billion dollar franchise in all-new ways. Despite being a phone game that largely centers around older Call of Duty content, it has garnered a successful following and become a major focus for Activision. In continuing the precedent Modern Warfare introduced, Call of Duty: Mobile has been doing free seasonal updates that add numerous pieces of content.
For season 2, Call of Duty: Mobile players will be treated to an iconic map from the series, as reported by Dexerto. Call of Duty: Mobile will introduce the Modern Warfare version of Shipment, a map that previously made its name for itself in Call of Duty 4. Fans grew attached to Shipment thanks to its insanely small, compact nature which allows for unfathomable levels of chaos with grenade spam, killstreaks wiping out entire teams, and constant spawn killing.

It’s currently unknown the exact release date of Shipment in Call of Duty: Mobile, but it will release later this season. To help pass the time, the Call of Duty map Shoot House, which recently leaked, will also be joining the map rotation later this season. The other classic and incredibly chaotic Modern Warfare map will release next week and will include a Shoot House 24/7 playlist. Even though Call of Duty is one of the most popular gaming franchises of all-time, Call of Duty: Mobile is an incredibly accessible way to get into the franchise without owning a console/PC or having to drop $60. For Activision to continue to support it with incredibly recent maps and other content is pretty commendable.
It’s highly likely that Activision will continue to support the ever-popular mobile title with Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War content, but also potentially content from Call of Duty 2021. Activision has already confirmed the newest entry for the series but hasn’t mentioned any specific details. It’s heavily rumored the game will be developed by Sledgehammer Games and be set in the Korean War, but it’s unlikely anything will be confirmed until later this summer. Only time will tell, but it would give Call of Duty: Mobile a diverse line-up of maps and weapons when Activision decides to integrate its content into it.
