Fans usually pick a side as they would take one of these sidekicks over the other if they happened to find themselves in this Disney film. They both have attributes that make them great, but it is up to viewers to choose who they would want on their own Disney adventure.

The main thing about Olaf is that he was created from Elsa’s magic powers, which automatically makes him an epic and memorable sidekick. It also gives him a unique advantage over Sven as he can never die as long as Elsa wants him around. This makes him a mode of transportation as he takes his friends where they need to go in record time, whether it be on his back or by pulling a sled. It might not seem great in today’s world, but in the land of Arendelle, there were no cars to take Anna up to Elsa’s ice castle.

This talking snowman might not be the most intelligent creature on the block, but he does understand true love. This is a great quality in any sidekick as shows these values through his personality and it is something that every person should be able to identify. He is so in tune with the definition of true love he is even able to help Anna understand its meaning through inspirational words, which is something every sidekick should be as it is a common theme among Disney films.

It was already mentioned how Sven is loyal, but he is also supportive of his friends’ endeavors. He works to encourage them to chase their dreams and even gives them the push they need to take a leap of faith. This support raises Kristoff’s confidence as his ego is given a boost by his reindeer friend who wants him to achieve the happily ever after he deserved.
