In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the Gravity Room actually exists inside of Capsule Corp, but you won’t be able to access it.

Capsule Corp is known for many wonderful inventions. There are of course the encapsulation technologies that allow for almost any inanimate object to be stored in a capsule no larger than your thumb, with said objects ranging from automobiles to entire houses. And then there’s the time machine that allows Trunks to travel through time and save his father from certain death at the hands of the androids.

And then there’s the Gravity Room. Originally intended to provide Goku artificial gravity on his journey to Planet Namek in order to fight Frieza, the Gravity Room eventually became a permanent fixture of the Capsule Corp campus.

It’s also in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but unfortunately, you can’t use it. Yet.

We have Reddit user KronosT21 to thank for this find. Using a bug, they were able to start flying around Capsule Corp outside of the game’s normal boundaries. Where normally you’d only be able to see the arboretum and reception areas, flying outside using a bugged no-clipping mode allows you to see another room adjacent to the normally accessible Capsule Corp areas. And clearly labeled on the door are the words “Gravity Room.”

Since you can’t access the Gravity Room, it’s hard to say whether this was cut from the original game or it might be planned content for some future DLC. Fans are already speculating that it would be amazing to use the Gravity Room to train under high gravity to receive a training bonus. Of course, don’t let Yamcha in here if you don’t want him to get crushed like a bug.

Helping to bolster the theory that the Gravity Room might be included in some future DLC are recently datamined files that show booth Beerus and Whis are in the game. This would take Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot up to the events portrayed in Dragon Ball Super, where the Gravity Room is a permanent fixture of Capsule Corp and the Earth defenders’ training regimens.

The existence of the Gravity Room does make you wonder just what else might be hiding in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot waiting to be revealed.
