Delphox is one of the Pokemon from the Kalos region making its debut in Pokemon Go. This guide will show how players can find and capture this Pokemon. December is going to be a massive month for Pokemon Go fans. A large update titled “Go Beyond” will release, raising the level cap in the game from level 40 to level 50. Not only that, but every new level beyond 40 will provide new challenges for players to complete in order to level up. It also begins the start of Kalos creatures from Pokemon X and Y making the leap to the game. Only a small handful will be available from the beginning but more will release in the future. Delphox is the final evolution of the Fire-type starter Pokemon from the Kalos region. Fennekin, Braixen, and Fennekin all play a vital role in the trainer’s Pokemon adventure. Fortunately, with the first wave of Kalos Pokemon coming to Pokemon Go, all of the starter Pokemon will be available from the very beginning. This also includes other Pokemon like Fletchling, Pyroar, and Klefki (even though it is exclusive to France) while other Pokemon is scheduled to release in the future. How To Find (& Catch) Delphox in Pokemon Go
Fennekin is one of the Pokemon in the first wave of Kalos Pokemon. Starting on December 2nd, the Kalos Pokemon will begin to spawn in the game. To celebrate this event, the game is allowing Kalos Pokemon to spawn more frequently from December 2nd to December 8th. This is the perfect chance to capture a Fennekin. From there, this is how players can obtain Delphox.
- Fennekin: Capture in the wild or hatch from an egg.
- Braixen: Give Fennekin 25 Candy.
- Delphox: Give Braixen 100 Candy.
The best chance to get Delphox early in the update would be to play during the Kalos event. Use Pinap Berries to get twice as much candy. Also, set Fennekin as your buddy to earn more candy while walking around.
Other fan-favorite Pokemon like Slyveon and Aromatisee will be rolled out in the game in a near future. It will be interesting to see the Special Research needed to capture Diancie, the sixth generation’s “pixie” Pokemon. Each Pixie for the last 5 generations has had a special event attached to it. Kalos doesn’t have many legendary Pokemon so the raids will be smaller this time around. Regardless, it will be a while before all of Kalos is available.
