Naruto and Hello Kitty are two of Japan’s most popular franchises, though total polar opposites. So what happens when you slam the two together? You get BoxLunch’s latest clothing collab line, featuring mash-ups of the two series.

BoxLunch is known for their amazing exclusive collectible goodies, and this latest Saniro and Naruto Shippuden collaboration with the pop culture company might be one of their best yet. Featuring an array of clothing, from shirts to face masks, this collection is just in time for the fall season. Finally something no one realized they needed, but totally all do: shinobi Hello Kitty.

The standout shirt for many is bound to be the one boasting a cavalcade of character mash-ups across the chest, as well as their corresponding icons running down the sleeves. The back of the shirt sports the logos for both Naruto Shippuden and Hello Kitty and Friends respectively, making sure no matter what side this shirt is scene from, the wacky combo stands out. Since it has multiple characters slammed together all on one shirt, it makes for a fitting kick off to the collaborative line.

The full range of t-shirts is centered around a different character combination, and is without a doubt the biggest aspect of the release. The Naruto Shippuden x Hello Kitty and Friends Ichiraku Ramen Shop shirt joins the two titular characters, obviously carrying a bowl of ramen while dressed as Naruto (in addition to the line-leading orange Naruto Shippuden x Hello Kitty and Friends tee). My Melody gets spun together with Sakura, and Pochacco as Kakashi wearing Kakashi Hatake’s traditional Hokage garb. A Chococat as Sasuke mash-up gives the chance to flex Sasuke’s signature outfit, as well. The Badtz-Maru as Itachi tee puts the troublesome penguin in an Anbu uniform. And lastly, there is the Naruto Shippuden x Hello Kitty and Friends Akatsuki Cloud Dip-Dye Women’s T-Shirt, featuring Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Chococat rocking ninja gear, all on a shirt that is half white with a blue dip dye.

In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought a massive demand for facemasks, and with masks already being trendy in Japan (not to mention popular among ninjas), it only makes sense for this collaboration to feature a handful. The collection has both the Naruto x Hello Kitty and Friends Fashion Face Mask, designed with multiple characters, as well as the Naruto x Hello Kitty and Friends Pochacco as Kakashi Fashion Face Mask, each a stylish way to go out in these trying times. Don’t fret hoodie lovers, you’re not left out! The Naruto Shippuden x Hello Kitty and Friends Uchiha Hoodie is a perfectly cozy way to rep both brands at the same time. Playing off the complex relationship between Sasuke and Itachi, the sweatshirt has Chococat and Badtz-Maru in their place.

The entire line is available NOW for preorder on BoxLunch’s website, or if you’re lucky enough to live near a physical retailer items should (hopefully) be in store late October. Best of luck to all of the Naruto and Hello Kitty fans out there. Happy collecting!
