Yes, Overwatch fans, it’s that time you all dread: it’s patch time, and the newest patch re-balances four heroes that Blizzard has deemed worthy of a nerf or buff. If you’re a Widow main, you might have to readjust your timing a bit. So, what heroes has the mighty King Jeff Kaplan gotten his grubby mitts on now?

Widowmaker has received a nerf that affects the charge-up time on her shots. Now getting full damage on is going take a whole second, going up from 0.83 seconds. It doesn’t sound like much, but even the slightest change in timing can make a big difference. This could make Widow less of a super deadly, go-to sniper for some players. However, those who are enamoured with the violent violet villainess will probably be able to get used to the change.

Wrecking Ball’s Piledriver maneuver has been nerfed just a bit. Enemies used to be stunned for a second when he came crashing down, but now that time has been reduced to half a second instead. This gives Piledriver victims more of an opportunity to recover afterwards.

Brigitte has received a pretty significant nerf as well. The amount of armor gained from one of her repair packs has been brought down from 75 to 50, and the overall health from the repair packs has been reduced from 60 to 55. This is should be a bummer to anyone who likes bashing people in the face with Torbjorn’s daughter, who frequently seems to be the victim of nerf after nerf.

Is there any good news coming out of this patch? Well yes, if you’re a Symmetra player. She received a small buff with her Photon Projector’s secondary fire increased to 140. So that’s a bonus for anyone who likes firing off countless energy balls at the opposing team.

This patch was released not too long after Patch 1.45 launched earlier this week on that same server. That introduced Hero Pools, the new feature that will temporarily ban some heroes from Competitive Play each week. Kaplan has also previously mentioned a new Experimental game mode, which will allow players on both PC and console to experience hero changes live in the game. It’ll be nice to get a quicker view of character alterations so we can see exactly how they’re going to screw up someone we love.

These changes are currently live on the Overwatch Public Test Server, so you can go see if your main is ruined forever.
