One of the best physical features of Giovanni is his smile. And he sure does smile a lot.
The cosplayer @dims_pokedex knows how to bring Giovanni’s character to life – by flashing the smile that suggests hostility. As a malevolent leader, Giovanni always wishes evil on everyone by inflicting the worst forms of cruelty known to man. In doing so, he displays satisfaction through his grotesque smile.

The cosplayer, @pokemon_villains is seen waiting desperately for Pikachu, the Pokémon Giovanni’s always wanted. He laments the inefficiency of Team Rocket by saying, “Why are these good-for-nothing still working for Team Rocket?”

It’s natural for Giovanni to yell out in frustration for every time his minions disappoint him. Does Giovanni have extremely unrealistic standards set out for Team Rocket? Of course.
Giovanni’s burning desire for Pikachu has proved unsustainable in the long run. Like any unrealistic mobster, Giovanni and his team go beyond the limits of the law to get what they want. This includes stealing many strong Pokémon from trainers and demonstrating other forms of cruelty against them.

Looks like Giovanni loves to splurge on luxury vacations. The artist Matt Rider (@saiyanprincecosplay) embodies that very well.
The photograph has been taken at the Viencon Summer Festival’ 19. It shows one of those rare moments when Giovanni’s smile is anything but malicious. Giovanni’s photo-op with the wicked Team Plasma Grunts looks pretty amazing. The cosplay shows the dastardly pair pay their tributes to the godfather of crime.
Dressed-up as Giovanni himself is cosplayer Andrew Schneider (@schandmich93). Midori Phoenix (@midoriphoenix64) who is a Plasma Grunt has stylized the entire photoshoot. Last but not least, the cruel Neo-Plasma Grunt is played by cosplayer @icemantuck.
The cosplay turned out to be great and it definitely deserves the Earth Badge.

All things aside, as a creative artist one has to learn their best camera angles and pose accordingly. It’s nice to see Emanuel (@emxjquill) know tricks of the trade.
And once again, Giovanni is upset with Team Rocket. Because let’s face it, they know nothing but showmanship. To say that Giovanni has grown accustomed to Team Rocket’s failures would be a bit of a stretch. But the boss does order them around to do their job, i.e. catch the rare Pikachu.

As the longest-running character of the Pokémon franchise, Giovanni’s appearances change quite a bit. Thank you @217_cosplay for doing the classic orange-suited Giovanni.
The crime-boss, Giovanni in the original series wore a formal orange suit and a green vest underneath. His brown hair is cut neatly and combed back to suit his chiseled face. He wears a red tie tucked neatly underneath the vest. That Persian Pokémon in Giovanni’s hand adds a whole lot of glam to the entire cosplay.

Much has been made of Giovanni’s minions, Team Rocket. Together the three are complicit in unspeakable crimes. They are guilty of cruelties ranging from hunting, selling, and even killing Pokémon.
A tribute to the Pokémon world’s dastardly crime-boss would be incomplete if Team Rocket didn’t show up. Giovanni established the team to aid him to run his rackets.
Suri (@resuri_ackerman) and Mithos (@mithosuu) dress-up as Jessie and James, respectively. The shenanigans say that Team Rocket has grown taller than their patron, Giovanni. Oh, how the times change!
