- Mossy Lure Module and Incense: The Mossy Lure Module will increase the spawn rate of Grass, Poison, and Bug-type Pokemon, one of which Ferroseed is. Ferroseed is one of the Pokemon that has its spawn rate increased as part of the event. This will just make it so more of them spawn, thus allowing players more chances to find its Shiny form.
- Raid Battles: Ferroseed can be found appearing in 1-star raid battles. Players can typically take these on by themselves so if you see one, make sure to battle it before it disappears. Ferroseed has the chance to appear Shiny during the capturing phase.
