Pokemon Unite All Symbols and Their Meaning

Pokemon Unite is a MOBA that gives fans of the franchise a chance to experience Pokemon in a new way. There have always been cooperative and competitive aspects to Pokemon, and that’s only more true in Pokemon Unite. Hardcore trainers will compete in battle after battle while playing the new MOBA, earning accolades in the form of Medals for their performance during the match. These medals are only presented as symbols during the results screen though, so this guide will explain all symbols and their meaning in Pokemon Unite.

It should be noted that Medals are purely cosmetic. They only serve to show off a trainer’s skill to their teammates and opposition. While it would be preferable for Medals to come with some kind of reward, such as XP to help level up fast in Pokemon Unite, that is unfortunately not the case. Even so, Medals can benefit a player by giving them positive feedback to ensure that they are improving as a competitor.

All Medals And Their Meaning In Pokemon Unite

There are a few different kinds of Medals in Pokemon Unite. Some are rewarded for being the best at certain actions such as healing or scoring. Others are rewarded to MVPs of each role in Pokemon Unite. It’s even possible for talented trainers to earn multiple Medals in a single match.

Medals are a good way to gauge one’s own skill as a trainer. That being said, there is currently no option for viewing the number of Medals a player has earned over their career. Even so, fans can be sure that if they consistently earn lots of Medals they will quickly reach Great Rank and beyond. With more Pokemon to come as playable characters in Pokemon Unite, there’s always a reason for trainers to continue honing their skills in preparation for future competition.

Pokemon Unite is available now on Switch and releases for Mobile in September.
