Batman certainly does not lack for villains. While numerous film and television shows have made some more well-known than others, there are a lot more criminals in Gotham City than one might think. So while versions of The Joker have appeared in every show and movie series about the Caped Crusader, there are dozens of further options to chose from every time a new group brings Batman to the screen.

And to the screen he is headed once again, in The LEGO Batman Movie. Spun off from The LEGO Movie (in which Batman was a key supporting player), this new film sticks closer to the familiar Batman story. Batman is once again voice by Will Arnett (Arrested Development). Much of the supporting cast has previously been announced, including Rosario Dawson (Luke Cage) as Commissioner Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, Michael Cera (Arrested Development) as Dick Grayson/Robin, Ralph Fiennes (The Harry Potter series) as Alfred Pennyworth, and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) as The Joker.

The Joker is not the only bad guy Batman will be facing in LEGO form. Collider has released the list of actors playing other bad guys, and it sure looks like Batman has his work cut out for him. The newly announced actors and characters are Conan O’Brian (Conan) as The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road) as Catwoman, Doug Benson (You’re the Worst) as Bane, Jason Mantzoukas (Dirty Grandpa) as Scarecrow, Riki Lindhome (Garfunkel and Oates) as Poison Ivy, and Kate Micucci (Garfunkel and Oates) as Clayface. Also announced are Channing Tatum (Magic Mike) and Jonah Hill (War Dogs) reprising their roles as Superman and Green Lantern from The LEGO Movie and Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as The Flash.

It looks like Batman will not only be facing his normal group of foes in this film. Several other villains were also announced, and there will be a number of crossover characters facing him as well. They include Eddie Izzard (Hannibal) as Voldemort, Seth Green (Family Guy) as King Kong, Jemaine Clement (Moana) as Sauron, and Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) as Phyllis, whoever she is.

Those sorts of crossovers were also seen in The LEGO Movie, where characters from comic books hung out with characters from Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings as well as Shakespeare and President Abraham Lincoln.

Perhaps the most interesting addition is Voldemort, since Ralph Fiennes played the character in the Harry Potter films. Maybe there will be a moment where Alfred and Voldemort meet, for a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor. Time will tell, but one thing’s for sure. LEGO Batman wasn’t kidding when he said he liked to fight around.
