The career of M. Night Shyamalan is one of the most uneven in Hollywood history. Some of his films have been considered all-time classics like The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, while others are lambasted as jokes like The Happening and After Earth. His most recent movie actually falls somewhere in the middle.

The premise of Old sees a family visit a secluded beach where they end up going through rapid aging.
