The latest Warzone update adds the “Most Wanted” contract to the game, which will allow players to redeploy their entire team.

There was a time in the battle royale genre where a fallen player stayed fallen. At least until they fired up another match and had another go. Apex Legends was the first title to really challenge what had become a stereotype of the genre via its respawn beacons. This gave players a way to revive their fallen teammates and give them a second chance at glory.

Fortnite quickly copied Apex’s idea, and Warzone has initiated its own way of giving players a second chance. Teammates can revive players in-game, but only after the downed player has had a crack at the Gulag — a one-on-one scenario in which the last person standing is afforded the opportunity to re-enter the battlefield.

As of today (Tuesday, April 28, 2020), Warzone players will have another way of getting their fallen teammates redeployed — Infinity Ward is calling it the “Most Wanted” contract. Contracts are a big part of Warzone and completing them results in rewards. Complete the Most Wanted contract and a player will be rewarded by having their entire fallen team rejoin them.

There is a catch though, and it’s a pretty massive one. As soon as the contract has been collected, whether it be in a Battle Royale or Plunder match, that player will become a Bounty Target for every team left on the game map. Should they survive for the allotted time, which will be easier said than done, then, and only then, will the rest of their team get a second chance at greatness.

The latest Warzone update is a mammoth 15GB, although players should be used to the game taking up a huge chunk of their hard drives by this point. As well as the Most Wanted contract addition, it also includes Shoot the Ship 24/7, some Gunfight variations, and a new Obsidian camo. That doesn’t seem like much to fill 15GB but it seems as if memory is something players will have to sacrifice if they want to keep playing Warzone.
