Joo-ryung is keeping Squid Game fans pleased online by sharing various behind-the-scenes images of player 212 and others during filming. She has no confirmed upcoming credits at the time of this writing, but that could change soon considering how successful Squid Game is and the response to her performance.
Player 212 isn’t the main focus of Squid Game, but Kim Joo-ryung does bring a different energy to the show through her performance. Han Mi-Nyeo’s tendency to play both sides also gave the actress plenty of room to show her acting range. Player 212’s time with player 101/Jang Deok-Su turns her more into a villain at the start of Squid Game, but that is also where her crazier side comes out. However, Joo-ryung gets to play a bit more friendly and vengeful version of player 212 in Squid Game once she teams up with Seong Gi-Hun.
