When you’re not exploring the overworld or delving into dungeons in Kitaria Fables, you’ll likely be tending to crops on Thunderbunn Farm or gathering some much-needed resources. One of the items you’ll find you need a lot of is ores, of which there are three types: Copper, Silver, and Gold.
If you’re wondering where is the best place to farm for the different ore types, how to make ingots, and what you need these items for, we’ve got it all covered right here.
Where To Farm For Ores In Kitaria Fables
Ore is farmed from special rocks that have colored ore sticking out of them. The white glowing dots twinkling over the rocks shows that you can gather items from them.
The color of the ore sticking out of the ore dictates which kind of ore you can gather from the rock. Higher quality ore rocks can yield lower quality ore as well, so for example, you have a chance of getting Copper Ore from a Gold Ore rock, but you cannot get Gold Ore from a Copper Ore rock.
Harvestable points like these do respawn, though the harvesting points do move around a little. Check back a day or two later to gather even more ore.
Paw Village And Thunderbunn Farm
You’ll find ore rocks dotted around the northern area of Paw Village, though most of the time you’ll only find Copper Ore rocks and plain old rocks for gathering Stone and Coal. Sometimes you’ll get rarer ores, if you’re lucky. Thunderbunn Farm will sometimes spawn ore rocks too, but again — generally only Copper Ore rocks unless you’re particularly fortunate.
Mountain Tunnel Entrance
The Mountain Tunnel Entrance is the best place to farm for ore in Kitaria Fables as you can farm all types of ore here and it’s easy to access. Fast travel to the Forest Sanctuary and then simply head north (you’ll have to go west and then head north, as you don’t want to go into the doorway at the top of the Forest Sanctuary ruins).
Here, you will find plenty of ore rocks ready to be harvested, as well as a Teleport point so you can easily travel back to Paw Village and put those ores to good use.
The Mountain Field is another place you can farm ores too.
Pumpkin the Traveling Merchant
If you’re feeling a little lazy and you need ore but don’t want to farm it for yourself, there is another option. Pumpkin the traveling merchant sells all three ores, as well as a variety of other rare items. However, obtaining ores this way isn’t cheap, so we don’t recommend it unless you find yourself with lots of Paw Pennies and nothing to spend them on.
Pumpkin is also hard to track down as they move around a lot, they can appear in the empty stall at the top of Paw Village in the evening, inside the inn in Rivero Fortress in the evening, or at Canini Beach during the day.

How To Make Ingots In Kitaria Fables
You can create ingots at Shamrock the Blacksmith’s store in Paw Village or Rufus the Blacksmith’s store in Rivero Fortress. Switch over to the end tab for crafting ingots in his shop, and then you’ll need both ore and Paw Pennies to create each ingot. Here’s the breakdown of what you need for each one:
- 5x Copper Ore
- 100 Paw Pennies
- 5x Silver Ore
- 100 Paw Pennies
- 5x Gold Ore
- 100 Paw Pennies
What Are Ingots Used For?
You’ll need ingots for a variety of reasons. One of the most important reasons to get ore and ingots is to be able to upgrade your farming tools to the next level. You’ll also need them for certain weapon and armor crafting/upgrades, and for crafting the different kinds of keys.
Crafting ingots technically make a profit, though realistically you’ll be wanting to keep them for something else and the profit isn’t amazing, so there are better ways to make money.
