Uniqlo is a Japanese clothes designer that has created clothing lines based on some of the most popular anime and video games of all time. The Super Mario Bros. series is now part of the Uniqlo clothing line, with the Nintendo Super Mario Family Museum collection combining the world of the Mushroom Kingdom with casual wear.

The Nintendo Super Mario Family Museum line by Uniqlo is a collection of t-shirts for men, women, and kids that bear the characters from the Super Mario Bros. series on them. The adult t-shirts cost $14.90 each, while the kids’ shirts will cost $9.90 each.

Uniqlo also has three other lines of gaming related clothing coming next month, with Monster Hunter, Splatoon, and Street Fighter receiving their own shirts, which can be seen on the Uniqlo website and will use the same pricing structure as the Nintendo Super Mario Family Museum collection.

There have been several clothing lines involving Nintendo characters as of late, with Original Stich recently releasing a line of dress shirts that bear the original 150 Pokémon, for those people who need to attend a wedding while also promoting Magikarp or Zapdos to the other guests at the ceremony.

Nintendo characters have graced items of clothing for decades now. Uniqlo has a reputation for creating high-quality shirts and it is great to see them collaborating with Nintendo to make clothes using the Mario and Splatoon series. It’s just a shame that they didn’t branch out to include the Nintendo characters who don’t appear on merchandise as much, such as the Ice Climbers or the dog from Duck Hunt, as that would have brought the collection into must-buy status.

The Nintendo Super Mario Family Museum collection is available now on Uniqlo’s website, with collections based on Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, and Splatoon due in May.
