Pokémon Sword & Shield How To Find & Evolve Solosis Into Reuniclus

On first appearance, Solosis seems to resemble some kind of cross between an alien, a school science project about cell division, and one of those very rustic toys you make as a kid with things around the house. Beneath that wacky appearance, however, is a very powerful psychic Pokémon whose membrane protects it in the unpredictable Galar environment of Pokémon Sword & Shield.

One trend of evolutions among Pokémon is that they lose their ‘cute’ petite appearance as they grow up, but Solosis never quite sheds its adorable design, even in its final form. Let’s take a look closer at this charming little molecule, and see where to find one in the wild.

Location And How To Evolve

Before we get into its location, do note that Solosis is a Shield exclusive, meaning if you have Sword, you’ll need to have someone trade it over to you. Gothita is the psychic game equivalent in Sword, so a good idea would be to find a friend with the opposite game and suggest an exchange. This way everyone gets a chance to have something that isn’t available in their game.

If you already have Shield, you can skip this step and head on over to Giant’s Cap, the only place where Solosis live in the game. Make sure that the weather of the day is foggy, as that is the only condition they will appear in. You will see them floating in the tall grass, so no need to search around too hard.

Solosis has two evolutions with a pretty standard format, becoming a Duosion at level thirty two and a Reuniclus at level forty one. Your rival, Bede, has one in his party, so you’ll want to bring along either a dark, ghost or bug type to deter it as far as it being an opponent in the game goes.

How To Use Reuniclus

Reuniclus, despite being a pure psychic type, learns the powerful fighting type move Hammer Arm upon evolving. Therefore you get a free move for hard hitting right off the bat, though keep in mind it lowers the user’s speed. Future Sight is the 120 power special attack move it will get at level fifty six. Duosion would have learned the classic Psychic at level forty, which is a must to utilize any telepathic Pokémon’s power. For purposes of defense, you’ll want to make sure it knows Light Screen as well.
