Jennifer Armstrong is one of two newbies who will appear in The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16. She will be joining the Bravo series alongside RHOC newbie Noella Bergener. Besides the newcomers, Heather Dubrow will be making her return after a four-season hiatus. Her return was announced in June, shortly after three housewives announced their departures. Viewers have been asking for an RHOC revamp for many years, and season 16 might be the overhaul they’ve been waiting for.
Earlier this summer, Jennifer, along with Noella, was spotted hanging out with the RHOC cast. In fact, she was seen with them several times. While nothing was confirmed back then, it seemed likely that Jennifer and Noella would be making their debuts in season 16. So far, Jennifer hasn’t made major headlines like her other newbie castmate Noella, who announced her divorce from her husband James Bergener before she was confirmed as a housewife. Nonetheless, Jennifer seems like she isn’t afraid to get into the mix of things.
Before she became an OC housewife, Jennifer was already known around Orange County because she’s a cosmetic dermatologist. At her website, Armstrong MD, Jen showcases the team at her practice. She has a number of dermatologists on hand who treat a range of skin conditions and cosmetic concerns. Some of the available treatments are Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and scar revision treatments. Jen was even given two awards for sculpture and received a couple of international awards for her skill with laser technology. Jen shared a post about her talents on her Instagram, as seen below:

She’s received many accolades, and Jen, who is working with RHOC costar Shannon Beador, is also starting a division of her practice that specializes in a unique magnetic brain treatment. Now that the RHOC ladies have a physician in their group, they have started going to Jen for all their cosmetic procedure needs. She was introduced to the group last year after meeting Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson. The three ladies his it off, and Jen slowly became an integral part of the RHOC circle. Along with her successful career as a doctor, Jen also has a solid family unit. She is married to her husband Ryne, with whom she shares three children. Jen also has an adorable Chihuahua puppy named Mr. Puppers.
Jen’s BravoTV bio reveals some new friendships developing, as well as some feuds. Besides being close with Gina and Emily, Jen developed a quick bond with Heather, whose husband Terry Dubrow is also a doctor. However, Jen reportedly found it difficult to create a connection with the fellow newbie, Noella. Jen’s fast friendship with Heather might be linked with her alpha female persona.
Jen runs her own medical practice, takes care of her family of five, and is currently helping her mother move from D.C to Orange County. With less than a month until the December 1 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16, fans will soon get to know Dr. Jen even better. They’ll also find out how she gels with the group. Hopefully, she will last longer than the one-season wonder, Elizabeth Lynn Vargas.
