Josh Duggar is currently in home confinement as he waits for his trial, but 19 Kids & Counting star Anna and their six children allegedly paid him a visit in recent times. They, along with wife Anna, reportedly visited Josh at a neighboring home, where he is being confined until his day in court. Despite these serious allegations – not to mention Josh’s long history of questionable behavior – Anna appears to be sticking by her man, making sure that their kids do the same.

Last month, Josh Duggar was arrested in his Arkansas home for receipt and possession of child pornography. On each count, Josh could face up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines. This latest Duggar scandal comes a few years after Josh was allegedly caught using the Ashley Madison marital affair website to cheat on Anna. Another allegation is that Josh molested a few of his sisters, including Jill and Jessa, when he was a teenager. Through it all, Anna has stayed by Josh’s side, and she is currently pregnant with their seventh child. Regarding her husband’s recent arrest, Anna reportedly believes that “this would not be happening if Donald Trump were still in power.”

As Josh Duggar prepares for his impending trial, it seems like Anna is continuing to believe his innocence. As reported by The Sun, she allegedly brought their kids to visit Josh at his home confinement location. He’s being kept at the property of LaCount and Maria Reber, who are longtime church friends of Josh’s father Jim Bob Duggar. Josh is allowed to see his children as long as Anna is present, but he isn’t permitted to be around any other minors – even siblings. The Rebers’ neighbor, Jason Gemeiner, said: “I believe I saw family visit, yes. I believe his wife and kids visited. I assume that’s who they were. There were also other people.” Jason added that the Rebers are “nice people,” but as the father of a teenage daughter, he isn’t thrilled about having Josh so close. “I’m a little concerned, but there is not much I can do about it,” he said.

Many 19 Kids & Counting viewers are wondering why Anna is allowing her kids to be around Josh under these circumstances, especially when his own family members are denouncing his actions. Sister Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo said that they “condemn any form of child abuse” and “fully support the authorities.” Josh’s sister Jill and her husband Derick Dillard simply stated, “It is very sad.” Jill previously cut ties with the Duggar clan because she felt her life was too controlled. Under the strict rules of parents Jim Bob and Michelle, she wasn’t permitted to choose her own job or residence, and had to be “joyfully available” to her husband at any time without using birth control.

All of the Duggars are devout independent Baptists. Traditionally, the concept of divorce is usually off the table. If Anna files for divorce, she could be potentially shunned by her community, despite Josh’s alleged crimes. Regardless of her religion, 19 Kids & Counting fans hope that Anna can keep having the best interests of her children in mind.
