There are some valid reasons why 90 Day Fiancé star Sumit Singh’s parents might eventually accept his relationship with Jenny Slatten. The couple has been fighting for their relationship since they first featured on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. Many viewers may know that Sumit’s parents, Sahna & Anil, don’t want their 33-year-old son to get married to an elderly lady. They think that Jenny is already 63-year-old and she will soon need someone to take care of her. Sahna & Anil don’t want their son to become Jenny’s caretaker instead of a companion.

Sumit didn’t argue with his parents until he got divorced from his first wife. Once he was divorced, he confronted his parents and tried to convince them to let him marry Jenny. However, their discussion soon turned into an explosive fight. Sumit told Sahna how miserable he was with his first wife, with whom he had an arranged marriage.

He then begged his mom to accept Jenny as their daughter-in-law.
