90 Day Fiancé star Armando Rubio introduced a new family member and shared the backstory on Instagram. Armando was first featured on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 with his partner, Kenneth Niedermeier. While Armando has a daughter from his previous relationship, Kenneth is a proud daddy of four adult kids. Kenneth moved to Mexico in the last season after living in the United States most of his life. He proposed to Armando, and the couple got engaged. But, Armando’s family wasn’t quite thrilled to find out about the engagement.
Armando’s sister and mother tried to be supportive, but his father had a hard time accepting the truth about his son’s s*xuality. After facing an unenthusiastic response from Armando’s family, the duo faced another problem when the civil registry refused to approve their marriage license. The 58-year-old Kenneth and Armando were furious to see that their request got denied without any discussion. Luckily, the couple got the approval to get married, and they tied the knot in May 2021 in the middle of Mexico’s wine country. Armando, Kenneth, Hannah, and their pet dog, Truffles, have now welcomed another member into their happy family.
The 32-year-old Armando introduced their pet kitten, Romero, on Instagram. He posted a bunch of adorable pictures of Romero and told 90 Day Fiancé fans how he rescued the animal. Armando said they found Romero’s mother and siblings at their local nursery “under a pile of trash & scrap wood.” The family was at the nursery to buy a rosemary plant. Armando added, “Romero is the male translation for Rosemary, hence his name!” After seeing the kittens, the family decided to rescue them and find them a safe home. Armando and his family adopted Romero.

90 Day Fiancé fans are happy to meet Romero and learn that his family also found safe and loving homes. A fan told Armando, “Thank you for saving them! You guys are one of my favorite couples!!!” Another fan chimed in, “What a wonderful thing you guys did! Rescuing them!!!” Someone else wrote, “Thank you so much for taking care of these babies!!” Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers noticed Armando’s cat on the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 3, and they were wondering when the couple got a new pet.
Perhaps that’s why Armando decided to officially introduce Romero to fans through this Instagram post. Usually, cats and dogs aren’t that friendly, but it seems like Armando’s Romero and Truffles have become good friends. They can be seen snuggling and playing with each other in the cute pictures. It is also adorable to see that Armando and Kenneth’s daughter Hannah has another furry friend to play with. Let’s see if fans would get to watch more of Romero in the coming episodes of 90 Day Fiancé spin-off.
