As the world of Pokémon continues to expand with each new generation, there has become an endless supply of creativity and imagination that can be applied to the catchable creatures. Not surprisingly, the global fanbase has reimagined Pokémon in a variety of different ways, from cosplay to fan art.

One of the most fascinating types of Pokémon fan art is “gijinka,” where the Pokémon are drawn with more humanly qualities. With so many different Pokémon designs and personalities available to play around with, their respective human forms would no doubt be a sight to see. Thankfully, some talented artists have provided us with our favorite Pokémon drawn as humans.

10 Toddler Phanpy

Phanpy is the tiny blue elephant Pokémon with red accents. While it has one of the simplest designs amongst Pokémon, it is still one of the most adorable with its playful personality and arm.

And although Phanpy is modeled after the largest land animal, the elephant, it’s actually a very tiny Pokémon under two feet tall. Therefore, its human form would definitely be a small child with a peppy personality. This cute fan art by @winter-cakes features a young child with pigtails, a blue outfit, and a red bandage on her nose to replicate Phanpy’s red band on its trunk.

9 Voodoo Mimikyu

Mimikyu has always been an interesting mix of cute, sad, and a little bit creepy. As a ghost-type Pokémon who hides under a disguise resembling Pikachu, there’s definitely an ominous vibe and dark story to go along with Mimikyu’s origin.

Naturally, if Mimikyu were to be a human, it would be equally spooky with a mask. @dunesand drew a human Mimikyu with the iconic Pikachu disguise over its head, a stitched-together body, and some needles poking out like a true voodoo doll. As the total number of Pokémon approaches 1,000 in the National Pokédex, there’s been a need to come up with unique and innovative character designs to make each new Pokémon stand out. While many Pokémon resemble nature, others resemble inanimate objects such as home decor. As its name suggests, Chandelure was inspired by a chandelier.

Pokémon has had its fair share of cool and edgy creatures, including the Sinnoh Region’s resident tough guy, Luxray. Resembling a lion with an intimidating stare, Luxray is both strong and handsome.

With a tight leather jacket, ripped pants, and biker gloves, the human version of Luxray is drawn to be rebellious and edgy by @nova398. Both his hairstyle and flared-out collar resemble Luxray’s spiky mane, while the blue, black, and yellow match its color scheme. 6 Mystical Zoroark & Delphox

Zoroark and Delphox are two Pokémon who have a lot in common. They are both foxes who stand upright, and they both possess mystical powers. Zoroark has the ability to create illusions to deceive its victims, while Delphox can see into the future with the help of its fiery stick.

If these two foxes were humans, they’d definitely hand out together if they ever crossed paths. Anyone who’s been around since the iconic third Pokémon movie is well aware of the majestic being that is Entei. As one of the Legendary Beasts of the Johto Region and the poster child of its own movie, Entei is no doubt a powerful and mighty force in the world of Pokémon.

Based on his strong and manly voice in the movie, Entei can easily be imagined as a muscular man of some sort. 1 Legendary Bird Trio

For generations, Legendary Pokémon have come in trios such as the Legendary Beasts of Johto, the Lake Guardians of Sinnoh, and the Forces of Nature of Unova. However, the original and most iconic trio has to be the Legendary Birds: the ice-type Articuno, the electric-type Zapdos, and the fire-type Moltres.
