DeShawn has literally had to overcome a mountain of obstacles in order to reach the success he’s striving for on American Ninja Warrior season 13, but his determination has kept him motivated to make it to the top. DeShawn’s journey on American Ninja Warrior started on season 10 in Miami in 2018. During his first try at the intimidating obstacle course, DeShawn failed to make it past the Slippery Summit. Ultimately, DeShawn placed 32nd on season 10, which means he didn’t place in the city finals. DeShawn returned for the next American Ninja Warrior season, which took place in his hometown of Atlanta in 2019. This time, DeShawn failed to make it past the Block Run, but he was supported by his students, nonetheless. On season 12, DeShawn made it to the Ferris Wheel obstacle but was unable to progress beyond it. This meant that DeShawn didn’t achieve his goal of making it to the Top 12.
DeShawn was born on July 30, 1991. This means that the American Ninja Warrior competitor is 30 years old and has a Leo zodiac sign. According to Ninja Quest Fitness, a Ninja Warrior gym Deshawn has worked at, DeShawn played college football at Tennessee Tech and The University of Cincinnati. DeShawn realized his passion for Ninja Warrior when moved to Atlanta to follow his dream of acting.
