There is an abundance of creative energy circulating throughout the islander community, and many of the custom designs have gotten a lot of traction on Reddit. Below are some of the best layouts along with several creator codes for Animal Crossing: New Horizons players to check out when that creative inspiration inevitably strikes.

The Cat House Pub

Reddit user, daileyart, brought some of the aesthetics from 1989’s animated film, Kiki’s Delivery Service, by building The Cat House Pub. The pub shares similar ambiance to the bakery in the anime, and the sign pays homage to Kiki’s widely recognized feline companion Jiji. While the codes for the signs will remain unique to the creator’s island, they have shared the design codes for the pub’s shelving.

Father’s Day Memorial

Yoshdee on Reddit made a touching memorial to their late father just in time for Father’s Day. It includes a fireman’s uniform and helmet to honor his service to the fire department, a beautiful courtyard, and a golden toilet as that was his thrown according to the creator’s immortalization of their father. This beautifully personalized homage, evoked heartfelt praise from fellow Reddit users.

Calvin & (No) Hobbes

Reddit user SmashballTaz made a splendid islander doppelganger of Calvin from the classic Calvin and Hobbes comic strips. Unfortunately, Hobbes is missing from the photo that was provided, but the creator remarks on having a Tiger doll to accompany the look-a-like islander.

Japanese Woodlands

Emmmkbye shared this video on Reddit of their island woodlands with gorgeous landscaping in the Japanese style. The aesthetics are completed with winding lantern-lit paths, simplistic stone-sculptures, and pagodas in the distance.

Untitled Goose At The Crossroads

Redditor Asadfarook took on the challenge by an Untitled Goose Game fan to recreate this layout and did a remarkable job. Islanders can get the crossroads design with the creator code, MA-6647-9230-4716, which the creditor credits to Denim2 on Twitter.

Rural Japanese Town

Reddit user patsylala put their town design together using a variety of models from different creators, including:

Denim2 (MA-6647-9230-4716), who also contributed the crossroads to the Untitled Goose design above, created the featured Dirt path.

Peninsula Lighthouse

Screelord posted a photo to Reddit of their peninsula, which they’ve crafted into a lighthouse point, lush with shrubbery. The post took hold on Reddit, mainly due to the size of the peninsula being able to support such a layout. One Redditor, Danny_Crossing, commented that new players should take heed to select a map with a cape big enough to accommodate such a substantial design.

On The Farm

One Reddit user shared their farmstead creation, made up entirely of designs by @jin_men56 on Twitter. Reddit responded with several light-hearted voices of concern regarding the fire hazard posed by the gas can and the possibly unethical use of the barbed wire. Regardless, the farm layout was widely well-received, especially the horse paneling.
