Nier: Automata, the post-apocalyptic fan-favorite created by Square Enix and the famed Yoko Taro, makes its way to the colorful world of Animal Crossing. Automata

2B

2B is the main character of the game who features on the box art. She begins the story with a deep hate for machines, but slowly starts to realize that not everything is as it seems. Here are some variations of her signature black dress.

9s

9S is the working partner of 2B. He is considered a scanner android, whose job is to collect information. He’s quite curious about Earth and loves to learn new things. His friendly nature is a counterbalance to 2B’s aloofness when it comes to interacting with some of the machines. He becomes her helper, friend and caretaker.

A2

A2 is a mysterious character introduced a little later in the story. At first she seems like an enemy, but fans will know she has her own reasons behind her actions.

Nier

The original games takes place in a world where the title character, Nier and his friends fight off monsters called shades as Nier protects his sick daughter and goes on a quest to find a cure for his daughter illness. There are two versions of the first Nier: from Gestalt, where the title character is older, and from Replicant, where he’s younger. A remake of the latter is currently in development.

A traveling companion of Nier, she is a great friend to both him and Emil.

Emil

Emil is a fan favorite character, and even makes a small cameo in Automata.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch. Nier: Automata Game of the YorHa edition is available for the Playstation 4 today. The Nier: Replicant remake release date is to be announced in the future.
