A talented Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has managed to recreate an entire Starbucks cafe on their island. This cafe has a cozy feel that makes just about anyone long to visit this deserted island. Of course, fans of the game are no strangers to seeing some stunning in-game vistas created by other players at this point.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a life simulator that takes place on a deserted island, with players being entrusted with building up the town with resources and effort. Players can gather and craft items and customize the island in whatever fashion they wish. Various anthropomorphic animal characters will move onto the island, helping popularise the town and become friends with the player. Shops and facilities are also eventually added to the island, adding more options for customization and adding to the island’s economy. More events and features have been added to the game since releasing over a year ago, with continued updates planned for the near future.
This rustic open-plan cafe was posted to the Animal Crossing subreddit on Reddit, with the creator Evay-Lynn showing off their clever construction. Players often submit their island for review on the subreddit, but this one shows some real creativity in bringing the coffee house franchise to the Animal Crossing world. Evay-Lynn makes great use of space and angles in this build, using panels to simulate walls and coffee-related inventory for the cafe. The furniture also has a great theme, with light and dark wood giving it a cozy feel that makes it so attractive.
To achieve this build, some patterns were needed to be made, with the creator sharing the creator code for the flooring in the comments on the post. While a filter was used on the images, many of these items are available in the base game, except for the custom designs which require an online subscription to access. For the time being, players cannot visit this cafe in the dream realm, as the creator wishes to finish tidying up the whole island before releasing a dream code online.
While this cafe is not something Brewster would use, The Roost has yet to be added in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Players will have to just make do with personal builds such as these until the coffee maker pigeon is eventually added to the island, if he ever does that is. Many of the older game’s NPCs have been added, so it seems like it would only be a matter of time for Brewster to be included.
