Apex Legends Season Six is upon us, and if the gameplay trailer that was released a few days ago is any indication, we can look forward to some colorful and flashy skins.

While the big news from the Season Six gameplay trailer might have been the fact that Kuben Blisk has returned, we shouldn’t forget that there is also much, much more to look forward to in the new season. After all, if Blisk is watching and is saying that you need to leave a mark, new gun skins and legends might be the best way to do that.

Speaking of leaving a mark, this could mean that each of the legends has a new sponsor since their new skins all have writing on them, making them look more like sports jerseys than your typical updated skin. Bloodhound, for example, has “VNNA” written on their chest, potentially referencing the line “If the gods will it, we vinna” — vinna being Swedish for “win.” Bloodhound’s skin has by far the most subdued tone, however, as the other legends have very bright and colorful skins compared to the red on black that Bloodhound dons.

In addition to player skins, we are also getting both reactive and non-reactive gun skins. The G7 Scout looks like it has two new variations, one that is all white with blue flames that flare when you down or kill an enemy and another that is more gold on black with orange flames. The other gun skins look like they are going to have patterns on them that will surely separate the serious players from the casual ones, as they will likely only appear in the higher levels of the Battle Pass.

This might be one of the last seasons of Apex Legends before we start getting into discussions about another Titanfall game – or series of games, if we take Blisk at his word that “something big” is coming. If that is the case, then you’re going to want to make sure you get your hands on all of this fancy new gear so you can show off your skill to Blisk – at least if you’re really playing to become an Apex Predator.
