Bayonetta is back! The fan-favorite bad but oh-so-good witch is making her debut on the Nintendo Switch with Bayonetta 2. Even better, she’s getting an awesome new wardrobe to celebrate her arrival. The most exciting outfits allow Bayonetta to cosplay stunning versions of some beloved Nintendo characters.

Technically, Bayonetta 2 is a release, with the original release being on the Wii U. But given the Wii U’s poor sales, it’s safe to assume that the Switch version will be many players’ first time strapping on Bayonetta’s explosive heels. So to help our readers out, we’re going to tell you how to get the Nintendo costumes in Bayonetta 2 for Switch.

Mirrors

The first thing you have to do is buy an item called a Mirror from Rodin’s shop. A Mirror costs 100,000 Halos, and that unlocks the ability to purchase additional costumes for 100,000 Halos a piece. Hopefully you’ve been saving up!

At the very start of the game, you’ll find that two mirrors are already available. Those are the Super Mirror 2 and the Super Mirror 64-2.

Super Mirror 2

This mirror won’t be of much interest to Nintendo fans, as it simply unlocks the outfits Schoolgirl, Police Woman, Witch Apprentice, Metal Witch, Dress, and Uniformed (Jeanne Only). Each will cost 100,000 Halos, or you can use the Bayonetta amiibo to unlock them all right away. Not that these aren’t fun in their own way, but Nintendo fans will want to focus on the Super Mirror 64-2.

The moment you buy this mirror, you will unlock the Fox McCloud outfit. After that, you can buy these costumes for 100,000 Halos a piece: Mushroom Kingdom Princess, Sarasaland Princess, Hero Of Hyrule, and Galactic Bounty Hunter.

To get them without paying, just scan the Fox, Peach, Daisy, Link, and Samus amiibos respectively.

There are two more mirrors to get, but they require some work. They are the Super Mirror and Super Mirror 64.

Super Mirror

This one is unlocked by beating the story on 2nd Climax or higher. It contains costumes that give Bayonetta her long hair from the original Bayonetta. They are the Old, Nun, and Uniformed (Jeanne Only). Again, fun, but if you’re only in it for the Nintendo stuff, pay more attention to Super Mirror 64.

Beating the story on 3rd climax will reward you with the Sarasaland Princess, Hero Of Hyrule, and Galactic bounty hunter costumes, but with a twist. These versions will have Bayonetta sporting her long hair. If you happen to have the Bayonetta Player 2 amiibo, you can scan it into the Switch to unlock both the Super Mirror and Super Mirror 64 in one go!
