The Book of Boba Fett star Temuera Morrison is careful not to reveal any spoilers about potential Star Wars cameos in the upcoming Disney+ show. Following the massive success of The Mandalorian, several more Star Wars shows are in development at Disney+, and the latest live-action series is set to arrive in just a few weeks. The Book of Boba Fett was first teased in a post-credits scene at the end of The Mandalorian season 2 and later confirmed to be its own standalone show. For many, this is a project that has been long in the making; fans have called for Boba Fett to get his own movie for years now.

Instead, he’ll appear in a 7-episode streaming series, which is much better suited to his upcoming arc. Morrison initially played Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequels, and after voicing Boba in various video games over the years (not to mention a re-release of Empire Strikes Back), he made his live-action debut as the character in The Mandalorian season 2. The Book of Boba Fett will find him and new ally Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) taking over Jabba the Hutt’s empire on Tatooine.

With The Book of Boba Fett set to premiere in just three weeks, excitement is steadily increasing, and based on new comments from Morrison, fans have good reason to get hyped. Morrison touched upon whether audiences can expect any Star Wars cameos while speaking to Total Film (via GamesRadar+), and while he didn’t give anything away, he did promise there’s a lot to look forward to. He said:

“I can’t say anything, but we have some wonderful, colourful things to look forward to. I don’t want to say too much about it because we’re all going to go on this journey together. And every little bit of information is pretty precious now.”

In a way, The Book of Boba Fett is at a bit of a disadvantage. It’s the first live-action Star Wars show to arrive since The Mandalorian season 2 wrapped up its run a year ago, and that batch of episodes featured more cameos and guest stars than audiences knew what to do with. In addition to Boba, The Mandalorian had the live-action debuts of Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff), as well as the most talked-about cameo of 2020, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).

The Book of Boba Fett cameo fans are most interested in is likely the Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal). The show’s trailer sparked some debate over this when some online insisted a particular character sounded like Pascal. Seeing as The Book of Boba Fett was established through The Mandalorian, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to have Din turn up. Additionally, the show’s location of Tatooine could open the door for other familiar faces like Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant). For now, fans aren’t getting anything out of Morrison, so it’s a good thing The Book of Boba Fett will kick off at the end of the month.
