He welcomes gardener Clayton Boone into his life, but their friendship proves to have its challenges as Whale and Boone have different ideas as to where they want it to go.

The complex narrative left viewers intrigued.

1 Crash (2004) – 7.8

Topping off the list as Brendan Fraser’s highest-scoring film of all time is Crash. Though the film controversially beat out Brokeback Mountain at the 78th Academy Awards ceremony for the Best Picture title, Crash still acquired a solid number of fans.

Crash follows a series of people who live in Los Angeles including an attorney and his wife, a set of detectives in a relationship, a wealthy couple, a store owner, and a police officer who get pulled into a narrative of social relations.
