The Hills: New Beginnings star Brody Jenner received a birthday weed bouquet from his ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter and her new rumored girlfriend Miley Cyrus. It looks they’ve all officially moved on and are now friends.
Earlier this month, the news broke that Jenner was leaving his wife Carter after six years together and less than a year of marriage. Fans of The Hills: New Beginnings saw the couple fight often about Jenner’s partying habits and whether or not they would have kids (Carter wanted to have children soon, while Jenner wasn’t sure if he ever would). Right around the time they announced their divorce, Cyrus announced her split from husband Liam Hemsworth, whom she married last December. Shortly after both couples went public with their separations, Cyrus and Carter were spotted kissing while on vacation in Italy. Jenner seemed to take it in stride, making a joke about it on Instagram. Now, it looks the three of them are good friends – with Cyrus and Carter even sending Jenner a birthday gift.
On his 36th birthday, on August 21, Jenner shared a video on his Instagram story of a weed bouquet Carter and Cyrus had sent him (via: Us Weekly). In addition to the bouquet, Jenner received a box of goodies from Lowell Herb Co., including packs of pre-rolled joints. In the clip, Jenner can be heard in the background saying, “Miley and Kaitlynn, you really stepped it up with this one.” That’s when he showed the camera a note from the two women that read, “WEED like to wish you a Happy Birthday! Love you!”

Jenner doesn’t appear to be too hurt that Carter has moved on so quickly. He recently took to Instagram to defend his ex, saying he still cares about her after their split and asking people to be kinder to her in the wake of their breakup. He also could be handling it so well because he’s moved on himself. The Hills star has already been spotted out with model Josie Canseco. While Jenner, Cyrus, and Carter have all appeared to have moved on with new partners, Hemsworth is taking a break from romantic relationships and spending time with his family.
It’s nice to see that Jenner and Carter had an amicable breakup and are able to remain such close friends following their divorce. Hopefully, after more time passes, Cyrus and Hemsworth will also be able to remain in each other’s lives. In the meantime, Jenner is trying to move on from the lows of this year and enjoy the high(s).
