Warzone’s C4 has quite the blast radius and judging by how long this has been the case, Infinity Ward has no intention of changing that.

Four months into Call of Duty: Warzone’s lifespan and it feels as if the game has been around for a lot longer. Chances are it launching at the start of the ongoing pandemic has something to do with that. Over the course of those four months, hardened Warzone players will have honed in on the weapons they like to use and will have their own take on what they believe to be the perfect loadout.

That doesn’t just include guns, although that is quite rightly the focal point of any loadout. Some might even sport a riot shield, while throwable items and explosives also need to be considered. Chances are most players will opt for some form of grenade. However, if there is C4 on offer, then there’s one very big reason players should be bringing it to the table.

That reason being its very big blast radius. Time and time again, Warzone players have shared examples of falling victim to the game’s frankly ridiculous blast radius. Honestly, the clips and photos, which can be seen above and below, make us laugh. However, if we were the ones having our rounds ended by those C4 blasts, it wouldn’t be quite as amusing.

A not so well placed C4 appears to have quite an effect on Warzone’s vehicles. If the explosive goes off even remotely close to a vehicle, then it will blow it to smithereens, usually killing the players inside in the process. Those who have fallen foul of it have complained, while others have said that players looking for an easy kill via a vehicle deserve what’s coming to them.

This isn’t the first time Warzone’s blast radiuses and hitboxes have been called into question. Back in May, players discovered that helicopter hitboxes were massive, and a shot with an RPG didn’t need to come that close to a chopper to pick it out of the sky. As for the C4 issue, this isn’t a new problem, which would suggest Warzone developer Infinity Ward is aware of the problem, and either doesn’t care or is okay with it.
