Fashion retailer, Samantha Thavasa, is teaming up with the Pokémon Company to bring fans some adorable looks.

Under the Samantha Vega label—which caters to a different demographic than that of the other accessory lines under the Samantha Thavasa family—this accessories collection will feature themes and designs based on some popular Gen I Pokémon and the big bads of the Pokémon universe. Purses, wallets, charms, smartphone cases, and T-shirts are all part of this collection. Pick up a Pikachu cross body bag, a Team Rocket T-shirt, a versatile Eevee satchel, or a Gengar fanny pack while supplies last in this collection. No matter the aesthetic or style, this collection has something for everyone. Even though it’s a very specific look and the little cartoon faces are front and center, they’re products that can be used for every day or special occasions.

Preorders for this sale began on June 23rd through the Samantha Thavasa online store and a nationwide rollout of these products will be hitting Japan on July 15th. But before the national release of the line, the brand will be hosting a digital pop-up shop on July 9th. And the fun doesn’t stop once the line hits stores, in August the Samantha Thavasa flagship store will be hosting a week long pop-up experience and selling an extremely limited edition Pikachu inspired backpack. Items from this collection purchased in store will be wrapped up in a special gift bag, with a design inspired by the signature Pokéball with the words “I choose you” tacked on for good measure. Additionally, any purchase over 15,000 yen will be rewarded with a special tote bag sporting a sweet little Pikachu outline.

This line is the intersection of adorable nostalgia and luxury fashion. It’s a fun-loving line that will no doubt be a hit with Pokémon fans of all ages. Samantha Thavasa is pulling out all of the stops with this line and its launch. By providing perks and extra little baubles to customers just for shopping is an excellent way of generating engagement and drumming up people’s interest—because as much as people around the world love Pokémon, everyone loves free stuff.
