Goat Simulator, known far and wide as the most accurate way to experience the daily routine of an angry, invulnerable, super-powered, stretchy-tongued goat, now has a pseudo-sequel: Just Die Already. The follow-up game, created by developer DoubleMoose, bills itself as an “old people mayhem sandbox,” and it certainly looks to fit that description.

You play as an angry, elderly person who has just been kicked out of their retirement home, and you are trying to find a way to make it into another, more-luxurious retirement home. The only problem is that getting a golden ticket that grants you entry to this new home requires you to perform tasks that may leave you… a little bit worse for wear.

The game will let up to four players join in as they use everything from fish to fireworks while trying to gain entry. Players are promised the chance to strap themselves to rockets, launch themselves from catapults, and find ways to annoy all those pesky millennials and zoomers.

Of course, since you’re old and brittle-boned, your antics may leave you with a few fewer limbs — including ones you didn’t think you could live without.

“It’s the ultimate ‘what would happen if…’ game – a pure playground of mindless mania, and that’s why we love it,” said Simon Byron, publishing director at Curve Digital.

The game is scheduled for a full release sometime this summer, but a free demo of the game is out now on Steam. So, if you’re not sure whether a game where you can stumble around as a limbless, headless old crank is right for you, then you at least get the chance to try it before you buy it.
