However, the development team at CD Projekt Red has been slowly improving the game, and with patch 1.5, bringing with it a next-gen upgrade and a series of important improvements. One of the changes gives you the ability to upgrade V’s starting apartment as well as purchase new, fancier digs.

The process of upgrading your apartment, or purchasing a whole new place to live, is relatively simple in the new version of Cyberpunk 2077. Simply return to V’s apartment that you receive after the game’s short prologue, head over to the computer and choose the EZEstates website in the bottom right corner. Importantly, you will need to have completed the quest titled “Playing For Time” for these new lodgings to become available.

To purchase an apartment, simply choose it and if you have enough cash it will be yours. Your items will also be shared among all the properties you own. Similarly, to edit V’s original apartment, choose between the six different themes available and your house will quickly change.
