GungHo Online Entertainment has announced a ton of new content for the first anniversary of its hit multiplayer Ninjala. The game’s sixth season is well underway and to keep the momentum going, Ninjala will celebrate its anniversary with a new campaign, a new tournament, and a special collaboration with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. This collaboration, along with the rest of the anniversary celebrations, will only be available to players for a limited time.

Ninjala’s sixth season began on June 17 and offered players a ton of new content including a new stage (Sphinx Valley), two new Gum Weapons, a new Shinobi card, a Shinobi shop, and a budget mini pass. Beginning June 25, Ninjala will kick-off the celebration of its first birthday with the “1st Anniversary Campaign” which will reward 1,000 Jalas to anyone that logs into the game until July 7. This event will also offer a “1st Anniversary Celebration Sale” that offers a Story Pack, which includes Chapters 1 and 2, for a limited-time price of $0.99.

Then, on July 17, the “1st Anniversary Cup” will begin. This special ranked tournament will be open to all regions and anyone who participates will get a sticker as a reward. Throughout the tournament, players will have to collect points; the top four players will earn a unique IPPON Decoration and Emote. The tournament will also offer players the chance to nab special IPPON Decorations, Emotes, Gumball Machine Coins, and Ninja Medals.

Finally, on July 19, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will enter the arena. A ton of goodies from the popular anime will make their way into the game. They include: Avatar Outfits for iconic characters like Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Kyojuro Rengoku, and Muzan Kibutsuji; Ninja-Gums to adorn your weapon like those of the Demon Slayer Corps; Emotes that include First Form: Water Surface Slash, First Form: Thunderclap and Flash, Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun among others; Gum Utusemi; and a special tournament that will allow players to earn special Demon Slayer-themed items.

The Demon Slayer anime is currently taking the world by storm with Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, a theatrically-released film. So, it is the perfect time to incorporate the sword-wielding heroes into Ninjala. Though, these are limited items for the anniversary and will only be available until August 30. GungHo also offered a sneak peak at what players can expect in the upcoming Season 7, which includes a new battle mode and visual lobby.
