Dog The Bounty Hunter is very excited about marriage his upcoming marriage to Francie Frane. Duane Chapman has had a rough couple of years since the tragic loss of his wife, who succumbed to cancer. But he is looking for a fresh start with his new wife.
Dog may be best known as a world-famous bounty hunter who pursues fugitives from his home state of Colorado. Fans have watched him chase down the bad guys since 2004 with his wife, Beth Chapman. His last TV series, Dog’s Most Wanted for WGN America, showed Dog as he chased down dangerous criminals. It’s been rough for Dog as his wife, Beth, passed away at the age of 51 on June 26 after fighting a long and painful battle with stage 4 throat cancer. Dog had vowed never to wed again, but it looks like he may have had a change of heart.
Dog chatted with Us Weekly about his upcoming nuptials to Francie and seemed very excited about the ceremony. The reality TV star shared with fans that it would be more than a wedding ceremony, saying, “It’s going to be a marriage.” The Dog The Bounty Hunter star shared he knew Francie was the one straight away and was very much looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together as a family.
According to a close family source, Francie has turned Dog’s life upside down, but in a good way. The big day is set for September 2, and the plan is for it to be an intimate ceremony with just family and friends. Like most brides and grooms, they have had to postpone their big day due to the worldwide pandemic. The couple became engaged in May of 2020 after meeting up in Colorado. This is not the first or second marriage for Dog. This will be his sixth time saying “I do.” He was previously married to Tawny Marie Chapman, Lyssa Rae Brittain, Anne M. Tengell, and La Fonda Sue Honeycutt.
But his lack of commitment doesn’t seem to scare Francie, as the two believe they were meant for one another. Francie is a 52-year-old Colorado rancher who is also very excited to become Mrs. Dog. Back when Dog popped the question, she took to Instagram to share her sentiments, saying she was thankful to God for making her so strong-willed. She also shared an intimate photo of her and Dog snuggled up together, saying she was excited about her new adventure. Dog The Bounty Hunter fans are over the moon for the couple and look forward to seeing all their wedding photos after the big day.
