Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga released a new trailer during Gamescom 2021, and it revealed a sneak peek at the massive map of the galaxy. This game is shaping up to be one of the largest Lego titles to date, with 300 playable Star Wars characters and 24 explorable planets. Fans will be able to begin at any of the three trilogies they want, meaning they can start playing the Sequel Trilogy before playing the Original or Prequels.

While it has yet to be confirmed just how massive these locations are, it was revealed that each planet (or explorable location such as the Death Star) has its own area to explore. Many of these planets will be Hub Worlds in which players can spend some downtime. Each location also includes a variety of challenges to complete like races and dog fights.

Since Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga lets players begin their adventure from any Saga, some planets may not be available right away. So, for those who are looking forward to exploring Coruscant, it may be best to start with the Prequel Trilogy.

Prequel Trilogy Planets In Lego Star War: The Skywalker Saga

Every LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Location Revealed

The Prequel Trilogy planets will contain seven planets from the whole Skywalker Saga with Kashyyk and Utapau being two of many planets Star Wars fans can’t wait to explore. While most planets will take place on land, Naboo may incorporate the underwater Gungan city, Otoh Gunga. A scene in the trailer shows the scene of Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Jar Jar escaping the giant fish underwater. It’s hard to tell if this will just be part of the story level or just another place to explore while on Naboo. Here are all the confirmed explorable planets for the Prequel Trilogy:

  • Naboo
  • Coruscant
  • Kamino
  • Geonosis
  • Utapau
  • Kashyyyk
  • Mustafar

Original Trilogy Planets In Lego Star War: The Skywalker Saga

As for the Original Trilogy, players will get to see six planets make an appearance in the new Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. These six planets are some of the most classic locations many fans have come to know and love:

  • Tatooine
  • Yavin 4
  • Hoth
  • Dagobah
  • Bespin
  • Endor

The Death Star has been confirmed as another location, but it doesn’t appear on the Galaxy Map in the new trailer, so it likely only appears in story missions. Star Destroyers have also been confirmed to be in the game as smaller explorable locations and will occasionally interrupt hyperspace travel to send TIE Fighters for dog fights in space, according to Kotaku.

Sequel Trilogy Planets In Lego Star War: The Skywalker Saga

As for the Sequel Trilogy locations, this is where a bulk of the explorable planets come from. There are twelve planets being brought in from the Sequel Trilogy. These locations are as follows in order of appearance in the movies:

  • Jakku
  • Takodana
  • D’Qar
  • Ahch-to
  • Cantonica
  • Crait
  • Ajan Kloss
  • Pasaana
  • Kijimi
  • Kef Bir
  • Exegol

Like the Death Star, Starkiller Base does not appear to be explorable, though it will appear in the game. Still, there are a lot of planets to explore in the Sequel Trilogy, due to the protagonists constantly jumping between worlds as they plan to take down the First Order and Emperor Palpatine. Hopefully, this doesn’t mean these planets will be significantly smaller than those from the other trilogies.

Overall, there are numerous planets to explore and hopefully a lot of content to enjoy throughout Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There have also been six DLC packs confirmed to release for the game and could even be free with TT’s Game designer Mike Consalvey saying there won’t be microtransactions. These DLCs include two Mandalorian packs, a Rogue One pack, the Classic Characters pack, the Solo: A Star Wars Story pack, and The Bad Batch pack.
