Another month, another Fortnite leak.
The latest update to the perpetually popular battle royale shooter comes with plenty of changes and updates to the game, including Summer Splash LTMs, new locations and challenges, as well as the usual new set of cosmetic items to purchase and unlock. Season 3 has already been rotating the LTMs for players to enjoy, as well as bringing back old favorites.
A game as popular as Fortnite is naturally going to be prone to data miners looking to dig out secrets in the game’s code, which is exactly what happened with the 13.30 patch. Leaked by Lucas7yoshi, he has shown off all the upcoming skins, bundles, back bling, harvesting tools, emotes, and packs that have yet to be released on his Twitter. If you’d rather not be spoiled on what new cosmetics are on the way, this is your warning.
The upcoming skins are all keeping with the summer theme, with a few standouts being the “Unpeely” banana skin, that makes you look like a peeled banana, and “Sizzle” which sports a cheeseburger for a head. There is one spot still listed as “TBD” so Fortnite will still have at least one surprise in terms of skins when the patch goes live.
There will be two bundles titled “Summer Legends” and the “Ms Whip” bundle. Back bling is as outlandish and comical as players should expect by now, including a TV set called “Tube Top” and a pair of ice cream cones named “Vanilla Whip.”
The couple harvesting tools play it mostly safe with a few new claw-looking designs, plus a garden gnome tied to a stick called “Gnomax” that is sure to be popular. Three new emotes will be available, called “Balletic”, “Out West”, and “Buckle Up.” Without video all we can do is speculate what they will look like based on their names.
Finally, there will be one pack called the “Galaxy Pack” that will have all the rarest, space themed, cosmetics included.
Despite these leaks, there’s still plenty left unknown to be excited for in Fortnite’s next update. Based on what has been leaked, there are already plenty of reasons to stay indoors this summer and drop back into Fortnite.
