Marvel’s Eternals has finally arrived in theaters worldwide, featuring many different songs in its eclectic, multi-genre soundtrack. Fittingly, a few of the songs deal with the concept of time, which makes sense given the plot of the film being centered around super-powered beings who have lived for thousands of years.
Eternals has opened up the MCU in numerous ways, notably by introducing new, spectacular Celestials such as Arishem the Judge. Despite the film’s scope being so massive, that doesn’t stop Eternals from being as fun and exciting as many of its fellow entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe—and the soundtrack is a major contributor to that.
In addition to the score from Grammy-nominated German composer Ramin Djawadi—best known for his work on the MCU’s Iron Man and HBO’s Game of Thrones—the soundtrack for Eternals features songs from numerous bands and artists, including Pink Floyd, BTS and Lizzo, among many others. Here’s every song in Eternals, as well as when they feature.
“Time” by Pink Floyd – “Time” plays over the opening MCU logo as Eternals begins.
“Sugarfoot” by Black Joe Lewis and The Honeybears – A montage of London reintroduces us to Sersi in the present day, with “Sugarfoot” playing over it.
“Stay In The Groove Pt. 1” by The Dap-Kings (ft. Rickey Calloway) – “Stay In The Groove Pt. 1” is the song featured at the nightclub where Sersi, Sprite, and Dane Whitman are celebrating Whitman’s birthday.
“Losing You” by Pierre Havet, Jean Gatson Renard, and Carl Sigman – When Sersi, Ikaris, and Sprite are driving to South Dakota to meet Ajack, “Losing You” plays over.
“Nach Mera Hero” by Celina Sharma – “Nach Mera Hero” is the song featured when Kingo (Kumail Nanjian) films a scene for a Bollywood film as he reunites with Sersi, Sprite, and Ikaris.
“Friends” by BTS – Kingo, Sersi, Sprite, Ikaris, and Karun are on Kingo’s private jet en route to reconvene with the other Eternals. “Friends” is the song playing in the background.
“Lend Me Your Comb” by Carl Perkins – “Lend Me Your Comb” features over landscapes of Australia as the Eternals are heading to meet with Gilgamesh and Thena.
“Mama Tried” by Merle Haggard – “Mama Tried” plays in Gilgamesh’s home when he reunites with his fellow Eternals.
“Juice” by Lizzo – “Juice” serves as Sersi’s ringtone when it goes off in Druig’s compound in the Amazon.
“The End of the World” by Skeeter Davis – Phastos bidding his family goodbye to go help the Eternals is set to “The End of the World.”
“Happy Children” by Harry Bluestone and Emil Cadkin and “Graceful Nature” by Stuart Roslyn – Both compositions are in the background when the Eternals reunite with Makkari, who has been residing in the Domo.
“Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D Major 2nd Mov. Affettuoso” and “Prelude in G Major, BMV 902, No. 1A” by Bach – Both compositions by Bach are playing on the Domo while Thena, Druig, and Makkari await their fellow Eternals.
“Feels Like the First Time” by Foreigner – “Feels Like The First Time” plays following the mid-credits scene after Thena, Druig, and Makkari are introduced to Pip and Thanos’ brother, Eros, a.k.a. Starfox.
