Lucifer season 5 features an eclectic soundtrack, which is typical for Netflix’s supernatural series about the Devil and Chloe Decker (Lauren German). In Lucifer season 5, Tom Ellis returns as Lucifer Morningstar, but he also performs double duty and plays the Devil’s identical twin brother, the archangel Michael, who is the Big Bad of the season. Lucifer season 5 is split into two 8-episode blocks and the first half of the season is packed with tunes.

Lucifer’s soundtrack has always been filled with a wide range of musical acts, and it’s especially heavy wth dance tracks since the Devil owns Lux, a high-end nightclub in Los Angeles. Lucifer is also blessed to have an immensely talented leading man in Tom Ellis, who has strong song-and-dance chops and performs at least one song each season; Lucifer season 5 does something a bit different as Ellis gets on stage and performs a classic torch song with Lesley-Ann Brandt, who plays Mazikeen’s mother Lilith, in a black-and-white film noir episode set in 1946. The other members of Lucifer’s cast like Aimee Garcia, who plays Ella Lopez, and Kevin Alejandro, who plays Detective Dan Espinoza, are also no slouches in the musical talent department.

With Lucifer returning from his self-imposed exile to Hell to solve murders and pursue his relationship with his beloved detective, Chloe, here’s every track showcased in Lucifer season 5’s Spotify-ready soundtrack.

Episode 1: “Really Sad Devil Guy”

Lucifer is still in Hell trying to “help” a new arrival, while back in Los Angeles, Chloe and Maze also work the same murder case by attending a high-stakes poker game.

In a hilarious meta-episode, Lucifer and Chloe discover that there’s a TV series called Diablo! based on Lucifer’s life in L.A. The show is about the Devil teaming with a homicide detective and solving crimes, but problems on the set result in a real-life murder.

Episode 4: “It Never Ends Well For The Chicken”

Lucifer’s 1946-set black and white film noir episode involves the Devil’s adventures in 1946. Lucifer meets and solves a murder with Lilith, Mazikeen’s mother, and the former wife of Adam, who poses as a famous chanteuse.
