Fall Guys Is Taking Over Fortnite With Player-Created Mini-Games

The world can’t seem to get enough of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, and that extends to hardcore fans of other games. In fact, some players are so into it that they are recreating the game in other titles—including Fortnite, whose robust Custom Game mode has enabled shenanigans that are almost as good as the actual Fall Guys.

One Reddit user, IFlySmooth, has gone as far as to remake three Fall Guys mini-games using Custom Game mode—Slime Climb, Door Dash, and Hex-a-Gon. These maps look so good that you’d be forgiven for assuming they were taken from Fall Guys itself. The Slime Climb is especially impressive, as the pink slime (or liquid, in IFlySmooth’s case) has to kill on impact.
IFlySmooth posted a video to Reddit showcasing the maps, as well as brief gameplay clips and a map code. Fortnite players unable to get their hands on Fall Guys can try it out for themselves. However, some players have noted that they’ve only been able to play Slime Climb and can’t seem to access the other two modes displayed in IFlySmooth’s trailer video.
Other players have chosen to make the little Jellybean characters from Fall Guys rather than entire maps. While recreating the game’s ragdoll physics is proving a little difficult, Reddit user sonny_hall_exe’s sister has made a model of a Fall Guys character that looks quite similar to the real thing, just more polygonal.
sonny_hall_exe is looking to fully recreate all of Fall Guys in Fortnite, barring minigames that are impossible to make in Custom Game mode, so players who aren’t able to buy Fall Guys but want the experience may want to keep an eye on their progress. sonny_hall_exe is also allowing other players to copy and paste the Fall Guys’ character model onto their own maps but isn’t up for sharing the code.
