Although most of the events and conventions that were traditionally in-person occurrences have been canceled this summer, many have moved to a digital platform allowing viewers from all of the world to still take part in the events. LudoNarraCon is such an event that began last year (and was a digital event before global shelter-in-place orders even existed), which took place on Steam in April as a way to feature indie game developers by showcasing new content and hosting live discussion panels. The event was put on by indie games label, Fellow Traveller.
That’s not the only time you’ll be hearing from Fellow Traveller this summer, though. The label will be making appearances at other digital livestream events throughout the summer to show off more of its upcoming titles, including Suzerain, Paradise Killer, and Genesis Noir.
Here are Fellow Traveller’s tentatively planned appearances announced so far. For those interested in the games being featured, questions can be submitted directly via Fellow Traveller’s Discord channel before June 8th, and will be addressed by the developers directly during the Steam Game Festival.
PC Gaming Show – Saturday, June 6 at 3pm EST
A brand-new trailer for murder mystery Paradise Killer will be shown via the livestream on Twitch.
The Guerrilla Collective – Saturday, June 6-8 at 1pm EST
Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller will host this new digital gaming festival featuring announcements, trailers, gameplay, and more from indie developers and publishers around the world. Genesis Noir, Suzerain, and Paradise Killer will all be sown off. The stream can be caught live on Twitch.
Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition – Tuesday, June 9-14
The Steam Game Festival celebrates games that are set to be released within the next year, featuring never-before-seen footage and limited-time playable demos. Fellow Traveller’s The Invisible Hand, Suzerain, Paradise Killer, and Genesis Noir will be featured, with devs for each game having dedicated Q&A sessions.
Escapist – Thursday, June 11 from 3-5pm EST
This event, put on by The Escapist Magazine, will be streamed in a “direct”-style showcase on YouTube, and will feature Paradise Killer.
