While most players are still working their way through the Endwalker content in Final Fantasy 14, they’ll be happy to hear they can take a break from their adventures on the moon and get festive with the Starlight Celebration event.
This seasonal event is available from today (December 16, 2021) until December 31, 2021 at 6:59 am PST/14:59 GMT. The quests cannot be handed in once the seasonal event is over, so be sure to complete them before it concludes. Here’s everything you need to know about completing the event.
‘A Very Yeti Starlight’ Seasonal Quest Walkthrough
Go to Old Gridania and speak to Amh Garanjy at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) to begin the ‘A Very Yeti Starlight’ quest. You must be level 15 or above to begin this quest.
Next, go and speak to Rissai at (X:11.2, Y:8.4) in Old Gridania and choose to make snowball-themed gifts.
Go to New Gridania and speak to Rissai at (X:11.7, Y:13.4).
Go back to Old Gridania and speak with Rudy at (X:9.4, Y:7.8).
Head to (X:6.5, Y:8.2) in Old Gridania and speak to Rudy again.
Return to New Gridania and speak with Rudy at (X:11.7, Y:13.4).
Go to Old Gridania and speak with Amh Garanjy at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) to complete the quest! However, you’ll need to do a bit more work to get those coveted minions! Speak with Amh Garanjy again to accept the next quest.
‘Time To Shine’ Seasonal Quest Walkthrough
‘Time To Shine” is the quest that will earn you the Wind-up Rudy and Squirrel Emperor minions, but naturally, you need to have completed ‘A Very Yeti Starlight’ to unlock this.
Speak to Amh Garanjy at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) in Old Gridania to begin the quest.
Teleport to Bentbranch Meadows in the Central Shroud and speak to Baenfaeld at (X:22.2, Y:21.8).
Go to (X:21.8, Y:23.3) in the Central Shroud and speak to Rudy.
Next, go to (X:20.5, Y:21.9) in the Central Shroud and speak to Rudy again.
Return to Baenfaeld at (X:22.2, Y:21.8) in the Central Shroud.
Speak to Rudy after the cutscene at (X:21.5, Y:23.2).
Return to Amh Garanjy at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) in Old Gridania to complete the quest and receive your Wind-up Rudy and Squirrel Emperor minions, as well as the Friend to the Furry achievement!
How To Get The Starlight Mobile
The Starlight Mobile is a brand new house furnishing that has been added to the game for this year’s event. You don’t actually need to complete the event to obtain it, you can just purchase it from the Starlight Celebrant for 6,000 Gil in Old Gridania at (X:10.6, Y:8.8).
