A former Faze clan member, Frazier “Kay” Khattri, is threatening legal action against the YouTuber that exposed him and three others for a cryptocurrency scheme.

As reported by PC Gamer, Kay was removed from Faze after he and three other former clan members were found to be advertising a shady “Save the Kids” crypto coin. The crypto coin’s sales were partly given to charity, but the value of the sale crashed following the launch, which meant that buyers lost a ton of money whilst the Faze promoters actually benefitted from it.

One of the main reasons that the scheme was discovered is because of YouTuber Coffeezilla, who regularly exposes internet scams. Coffeezilla made a video on the “Save the Kids” crypto coin, pointing out that the value of it massively dropped following its launch and that the Faze members who promoted it were making money from the scheme.

Kay has reacted by sending Coffeezilla a cease and desist order that demands he takes his videos about the coin down, otherwise he’ll be sued. Kay is claiming that Coffeezilla has caused him “millions” in damage, which has caused Kay’s lawyers to demand the YouTuber retracts his statements and videos.

The cease and desist letter is viewable here thanks to Kotaku. In it, Coffeezilla apparently said, “Kay, I’m serious man. You’ve gotta start talking. We’ve found so much more on you and if you keep hiding behind these 2 min statements, it’s never gonna work.”

Since the original video came out, Kay has been trying to act as the victim in the whole situation, telling his viewers, “We’ve uncovered significant evidence that a dishonest person abused his trust with me to scam everybody. This person gained my trust and the trust of my friends while still encouraging us to be the public face of his scheme.”

Despite being told to retract his statement and videos, it seems like Coffeezilla is going to keep doing the same thing, seeing as how he’s already made a whole new video regarding the cease and desist.
