Every new season of Fortnite brings with it plenty of new content, but also sees some old favorites, and not so favorites, get locked away in the vault. The beginning of a new season of Fortnite is always exciting for many reasons. Chapter 2 Season 4 in particular is a massive one, with new Marvel content exploding all across the map, but its the smaller changes that may end up having a bigger impact on how you play for the rest of the season. Plenty of weapons have been tossed into the vault this season to make room for others to come back out and get another chance to shine. Make sure you’re not taken by surprise when one of these old tools shows up in an enemy’s hands.

What’s Been Vaulted In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4

A nice mixture of weapons and items in Fortnite are coming and going, with some entire types of gun disappearing, while only certain rarity of others. Make sure to check the list carefully for your favorites.

What’s Been Vaulted

The major standouts that have been hauled off the map of Fortnite are all rarities of the Tactical Shotgun and two tiers of Pistols. Thankfully Epic has considered this when choosing what weapons are coming out of the vault as suitable replacements. As far as items go, the Epic Launch Pad is the only one that might have an impact on a few player’s games as a last escape, but because of how rare it is it probably won’t be missed by many. Here’s the full list of everything going in the vault this season.

What’s Leaving The Vault

To make up for everything we’re losing, a ton of weapons and items are coming out of the vault this season, including some old favorites. To make up for the Tactical Shotgun, we’re getting back all versions of the old, and dangerous, Pump Shotgun. And in exchange for the two Pistols, we’re getting back the Epic and Legendary tier Revolver. While the exchange of Pistols for Revolvers probably won’t be a notable change for most, the Pump Shotgun coming back is bound to cause a stir.

The other notable weapon you will likely be excited to see back in season 4 is the Scoped Assault Rifle. This gun was always a great mid to long-range gun that wasn’t terribly hard to handle.

Item wise, the Bounce Pad comes in as the Launch Pad equivalent, and the always infuriating Boogie Bomb is back to cause mass chaos. Here’s everything you can look forward to picking back up.
