Fortnite is a free-to-play game but if you want to get more out of it, you can get the Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks. The Battle Pass isn’t too hard to complete as long as you complete all weekly quests you’ll be good to go. However, there are Bonus Rewards that you’ll have to grind extra hard to get.

You need to reach level 100 to finish the Battle Pass, but to get all Bonus Rewards you have to get to level 200, which is quite difficult even if you do all the weekly missions. Thankfully, Epic Games has just dropped a “level up” pack that has tasks that players can complete in exchange for a full level each.

How It Works

The Monarch Level Up Pack was made so that players could level up just before the end of the Season. It was just announced February 17 and it’ll be available until March 19, which is when the current Season will come to a close.

Each week a set of challenges will be released and players will have to complete them in order to receive a level increase. Cosmetic items will also be attributed to those who finish a certain amount of quests as a Bonus Goal. The quests will be released weekly for a total of four weeks, and they won’t disappear or become unavailable once a new week starts. You can do them whenever you please as long as you do so before March 19.

If you get the pack, you will no longer be able to complete its challenges and get its rewards (both the cosmetics and the levels) once Chapter Three Season Two starts because that’s when they expire. You will, however, be able to complete the challenges from the previous week even after new weekly quests are released.

This skin can be purchased from the Item Shop for 1,200 V-Bucks, which is the usual price for a Rare skin. It seems that it’ll always be available until the Season comes to an end. For now, it’s in the upper section of the Item Shop, but it’s likely that it will soon move down to the Special Offers & Bundles section as the Season progresses.

To get it, simply select it in the Item Shop tab and select Purchase. You can also gift it to a friend if you’d like. If you’re wondering if it’s possible to buy the skin, complete the challenges to level up, and then submit a Return Request to get your V-Bucks back and keep the levels, it’s not. This skin is not eligible for Return Requests.

Once purchased, the person that’s getting the Level Up Pack will receive the Monarch skin straight away as well as its Quest Pack. Seven quests will be released each week for a total of four weeks, the number of quests you receive at first will depend on when you’ve acquired it. If you’re getting it at release, you’ll get seven quests but if you’re getting it in the second week of it being available, you’ll receive 14 quests.

You’ll receive one full level for each token you collect. If you’re halfway through a level when picking up a token don’t worry because it won’t simply skip to the next level at 0XP, you’ll skip to the next level and the bar will be just as full as it was on the level you were before. After you’ve hit level six, you’ll always need 75,000XP to level, so, as long as you’ve at least surpassed level six, you’ll always receive 75,000XP out of each token.

The cosmetic items are rewards for finishing a certain amount of a week’s challenges, meaning that each time you complete seven challenges you’ll get a new cosmetic item. Here are all the rewards that can be unlocked as Bonus Goals with the pack:

All Monarch Quests

The tokens are well spread around the map, there will be seven of them each week, which means that you can get a total of seven levels out of this pack weekly. That’s 28 levels before it becomes unavailable at the end of the Season. You will also have to complete all Bonus Goals before the time ends in order to unlock all the cosmetic items.

We’ll update this guide weekly will all the challenges as soon as they become available.

Week One

This first week will have you visiting nearly every corner of the map. This is a great way of earning XP as you may discover some landmarks you’ve never visited before.

This is exactly where you’ll have to go to find the Monarch Quest tokens, they’ll even show up on your minimap once you’re close by. It’s not necessary to interact with the tokens to collect them, you can simply walk through them, and you’ll level up instantly.

Collect the Level Up Token northeast of Logjam Lumberyard

This Level Up Token can be found between two rocks right on top of the mountain north of the Shell or High Water landmark.

Collect the Level Up Token east of Greasy Grove

If you follow the road that leads east of Greasy Grove, you’ll find a bridge. In the middle of this bridge is where you’ll find the Level Up Token.

Collect the Level Up Token at Sunflower’s Saplings

This Level Up Token is west of the Daily Bugle. Once you reach the Sunflower’s Saplings, you’ll notice all the large bushes. The token is in the middle of the bushes, in front of the red tractor.

Collect the Level Up Token at Sandblast Estates

Sandblast Estates is an easily missable landmark just south of Chonker’s Speedway. Enter the location and then head into the back of the house. On the balcony, you’ll find the Level Up Token between the lounge area and the entertainment area.

Collect the Level Up Token at Rocky Residence

Rocky Residence is a landmark next to the Unremarkable House, north of The Temple. The Level Up Token is inside the house, in the living room area.

Collect the Level Up Token at Mighty Monument

There’s a small patch of sand on the northeastern corner of the Mighty Monument island, only a palm tree grows on this part of the beach. The Level Up Token is just next to the palm tree.

Collect the Level Up Token at Happy Camper

This Level Up Token is directly west of Loot Landing lake, northwest of Tilted Towers. It’s behind the blue RV, next to the raised bed with cabbages.

If you enjoyed this quest pack, you might want to consider doing all of Shanta’s quests. It’s quite similar to the Monarch’s quests, you’ll have to visit several locations on the map and collect tokens to receive rewards. These quests are part of the Battle Pass so you won’t have to spend any extra V-Bucks if you’ve already gotten it.

Week Two

It’s the second week of the Monarch’s Level Up Pack and there are seven new Level Up Tokens to collect all over the map. They’re in completely different locations, so you’ll be discovering new landmarks that you might not have seen before. Once all the challenges are done you’ll receive the Monarch’s Glow wrap.

Here are all places you’ll have to stop by to collect the tokens.

Collect the Level Up Token west of Chonker’s Speedway

This first Level Up Token is actually quite far away from Chonker’s Speedway, it’s nearly on the far western end of the map. South of the Haven’s Oasis lake landmark, you’ll find a wooden house without a door. The token is right through the doorway.

Collect the Level Up Token north of Greasy Grove

Follow the road that leads north of Greasy Grove and then turn right and follow the dirt path. It will lead you to a small brick structure. On top of the house, there’s a Level Up Token that you can collect.

Collect Level Up Token northwest of Sanctuary

West of the Sanctuary, there’s a large hill with a dirt path. On top of the hill, there’s a bench and the Level Up Token is right next to it.

Collect Level Up Token northwest of Condo Canyon

Directly west of Condo Canyon, there’s a large rock structure that you can zipline to or teleport from a port-a-potty. The Level Up Token is in the center of the structure.

Collect Level Up Token northeast of Sleepy Sound

On the northern side of the river in Sleepy Sound, there are some houses. East of these houses there’s a spot near the shore with tons of pebbles. Between two large rocks, you will find the Level Up Token.

Collect Level Up Token at Sunburned Shacks

Sunburned Shacks is the smallest island and the farthest one east of the Sanctuary. Once you’re there head to the dock behind the house and the token will be next to the blue lounge chairs.

Collect Level Up Token at Covert Cavern

The easiest way to pick up the Covert Cavern Level Up Token is to land there through the hole in the mountain and land on top of the structure.

Week Three

As we enter the third week of the Monarch’s Level Up Pack, we’re more than halfway there. This is the third of four weeks. There are seven new Level Up Tokens for you to collect spread across the entire map. Find all of them, and you’ll receive the Golden Style for the Shattered Wings back bling. Here is where you can find all of them:

Collect Level Up Token east of Tilted Towers

East of Tilted Towers, next to the gas station north of Rocky Reels, there’s a red house. Enter the red house and in front of its back entrance’s doorway, you will find the Level Up Token.

Collect Level Up Token at Turbine

In the bottom left corner of the map, there is a small island with the Turbine and Windbreakers landmark. Head there and visit the western side of the island. There you will find a small beach with a shipwrecked boat as well as the Level Up Token.

Collect Level Up Token at Tow-away Beach

Tow-away Beach is a very small beach directly east of The Joneses POI. There are two houses there, a blue house and a yellow house. Go down the stairs between these houses and head to the beach. Next to the campfire you will spot the Level Up Token.

Collect Level Up Token at The Temple

The Temple is just northeast of The Daily Bugle. The Level Up Token can be found right in front of the southern entrance of the temple.

Collect Level Up Token at Logjam Lumberyard

In the northern end of Logjam Lumberyard, there’s a Durrr Burger truck next to the vending machine. The Level Up Token is right in front of the truck.

Collect Level Up Token at Chonker’s Speedway

At Chonker’s Speedway, there’s a brick maintenance house right between the S and P letters on your minimap. Behind the brick house, there are some tires and boxes protected by a barbed-wire fence. Between the boxes and the tires is exactly where you’ll find the Level Up Token.

Collect Level Up Token at Camp Cuddle

There is a house on the southern end of Camp Cuddle that overlooks the rest of the camping area. Head there and on the exterior of the house, you’ll see a campfire with the Level Up Token next to it.

Week Four

The last set of quests for the Monarch Level Up Pack is now available and it can be completed until March 19. Completing this set and all of those that were made available before will reward players with the Golden style for the Monarch skin.

There are seven new Level Up Tokens spread across the island that players can get their hands on which also means seven extra Season Levels. Here is where you’ll have to go to collect them.

Collect Level Up Token south of Sanctuary

There’s a wooden bridge south of Sanctuary, that’s exactly where you’ll have to go. You can find this Level Up Token on the dirt path just below the bridge.

Collect Level Up Token north of Shifty Shafts

Climb or build up to the tall mountain just north of Shifty Shafts. Right on top, you will easily see the Level Up Token.

Collect Level Up Token at Tilted Towers

At Tilted Towers, near the NOMS shop, on a crosswalk is exactly where the Level Up Token rests for this location. Be careful collecting it because this area is usually very active and dangerous.

Collect Level Up Token at The Ruins

East of the Ruins’ structure there is a similar brick structure popping out of the ocean. Right on top of this structure is where the Level Up Token sits, build up to it to collect it.

Collect Level Up Token at Haven’s Oasis

Haven’s Oasis might be a pond but it’s not a small pond. There is a small island in the middle of it with three nothing but three palm trees and a possible chest spawn. This is where the Level Up Token can be found.

Collect Level Up Token at Fisher’s Paradise

Fisher’s Paradise is a small island northwest of Covert Cavern and southwest of Logjam Lumberyard. You can land there, swim there or take a zipline. The Level Up Token is right next to the zipline in the center of the island. There are lots of fishing spots there so you might want to catch some fish before you head out.

Collect Level Up Token at Condo Canyon

On the southeastern side of Condo Canyon, there is a building with a large pool area. On top of the building, there is a fake lawn with some hedges. The Level Up Token is inside the hedge square.
