Not only have drivable cars finally arrived in Fortnite, but the vehicles come with fully-functioning radios that play real songs by some very famous artists.

It was a long wait between the start of Fortnite and the addition of its first vehicles. Then, it was an even longer wait between that and the introduction of drivable cars. Epic revealed that cars were coming to Fortnite this season via the trailer at the start of it. Then issues surrounding the new vehicles postponed their arrival.

Then, last week, they arrived. Fortnite’s island is now filled with players whizzing around in cars. It is as entertaining as we always hoped it would be and has made for some interesting situations during the first few days of the feature’s inclusion. The cars also come fitted with a radio which plays popular music by some very famous artists.

Fortnite’s car radio has four stations: Power Play, Beat Box, Radio Yonder, and Party Royale. The Party Royale station features nothing more than music players will have heard in-game. Honestly, when we discovered Fortnite’s cars have radios, that was the extent of what we expected them to play. However, the other three stations include music from real-life, world-famous artists.

Power Play features tracks by Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, and Panic! At The Disco, among others. Meanwhile, Beat Box appears to be the favorite among players and plays tracks by the likes of Travis Scott – who has performed a series of live in-game concerts in Fortnite -and Drake. Radio Yonder is a little different as it features nothing but non-copyrighted music, including tracks some players might have heard in Rocket League.

Using Fortnite’s car radio couldn’t be easier, although the buttons used to turn it on and switch between stations differ depending on the platform. For those playing on consoles, press triangle/Y to turn the radio on, and then X/A to switch between stations. If playing on PC, hitting C will get the music playing, and R will cycle through the stations. Just don’t turn the volume up too loud as it might drown out the sound of enemy bullets.
