Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) dated and eventually married Kimmy’s brother, Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch), in Fuller House. While the Full House spinoff’s main character was DJ (Candace Cameron-Bure), the show gave her younger sister her own arc as well. Moving in after DJ’s husband tragically died, Stephanie walked away from her gig as a party DJ, which had her touring around the world and mingling with high profile celebrities, for a more simple life in San Francisco.

Initially, Stephanie was skeptical about moving in back with her sister; she was excited to go back to her old globe-trotting life. However, after realizing how much help DJ would need to raise her three sons, she changed her mind, and together with their long-time friend and neighbor, Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), they settled into the Tanner family home. Fuller House’s premise is almost identical to that of Full House, with Stephanie’s arc mirroring Jesse’s (John Stamos) – and just like her uncle, she, too, was given her personal character journey which was ramped up with the debut of Jimmy Gibbler.
